Now its been a while. I was sitting here, and I thought that I would do some catching up. I was reading dads blog, and I realized that it has been a while. Well here is the first of the New Year 2012.
Well on New Years Day was the first of things gone wrong... I was working on that Sunday, and low and behold I feel me a pain in my back. It was a familiar feeling. Means I had that same feeling a few months before. It was a kidney stone (baby elephant). So I tell my partner that I have a kidney stone, She tells me to go home. I am a man , I will tough this one out like the last one, Yah right. So with my tail between my legs, I go to the Watch Commander and tell him I can't take it anymore. I going home. Well half way home is the way to the Hospital. I can't make it, I get in the turning lane and head to the hospital. New Years Day. WOW.
Next a week later... I get a call to find out that my Mother is in the hospital Pneumonia. She is doing better. at home recouping.
Next time line still running... My Father in law to the hospital he goes. Need I say more. He is doing better.
Okay Now a few weeks ago... I was at work. There was this fellow who just returned to my Pod (where is work in the Jail). He wasn't in the pod 3 min. and he gets himself into a fight. I was in the tower ( control room) with a trainee. She spotted the fight and I sent the floor Deputy in, He separated them and sent one out the door. So I tell the trainee she has to handle the doors, so I can help the floor Deputy. I start out of the tower where this fellow attempts to grab me. I was ready, I had my hand cuffs out and he did what everyone wants a person to do. That is to present his hands for the cuffing. Well I escort him to the sally-port . I instruct him to sit down, so I can talk with Mental Heath. I'm talking to Mental Health, and I hear some yelling. Well this fellow done thought he was Superman. He takes several steps and then leaps through the air and lands on my shoulder. I managed to spin through his flight. He found the wall and to the floor his flight ended. WOW.
Well that is enough rambling. Besides its a new year. Happy New Year to all who follow my blog.
